The DC regional alumni have been able to team up with the local section of IES (professional lighting society) for a tour of the new Strathmore Music Hall in North Bethesda, MD.

The tour will involve a comprehensive visit of the concert hall and education center, touching on architectural features of the building, and include a glimpse of the backstage areas.

Guiding the visit will be Sue Hains, AIA , Associate at Grimm and Parker Architects as the Project Architect for the Music Center from Design thru Construction Administration. She holds 20 years of experience in the A&D community and has worked on another large scale concert facility, Bass Hall in Fort Worth, Texas.
