Katrina detours no longer
Plans to install new chapter at Tulane University
Sincere congratulations are in order for the Hadrian Colony. Their petition to become a chapter has been accepted unanimously by the 59th National Convention! The Hadrian Colony was first formed in late spring of 2004 at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. Hurricane Katrina decimated their city several months later, forcing Tulane to close its doors for the fall semester…in turn, casting Tulane students almost literally across the globe.
This scattering of pledges to the various continents created all sorts of challenges with respect to pledge education. It was a long two years for the Hadrian Colonists, but they have persevered, proving beyond any shadow of a doubt that they will be a solid addition to the arch of Alpha Rho Chi. The brothers of Alpha Rho Chi anticipate their initiation to be held early in the fall semester, hosted by their sponsoring chapter, Seshait at Florida A&M University. We look forward to the day when their long, arduous journey toward brotherhood finally comes to an end and a new era begins!
Welcome Hadrian!
