Pierre Koenig, 78; Architect's Designs Personify Modernism

Pierre Koenig, whose sleek glass-and-steel houses became emblems of the
progressive values of Postwar suburbia, died Sunday of leukemia at his home in
Brentwood, California. Brother Koenig was 78.

The USC School of Architecture will be holding a reception to honor Pierre on
Saturday, April 17th at 3pm, in the Verle Annis Gallery and adjoining courtyard.
