Seeking: Worthy Grand Scribe

Grand Council is seeking to fill the vacated Worthy Grand Scribe position. Applications due September 1st.

 

Functions and Responsibilities of the Worthy Grand Scribe

Serves as the executive secretary of the Grand Council. arranges to record and publish all meeting proceedings

Supervises the Administrative Assistant, the National Historian, the Webmaster, the Social Media Coordinator, publications editors, and other special project teams as appropriate

Maintains the National Membership Database, Chapter Reporting System and the Master Directory

Coordinates and arranges for the distribution of all fraternal publications, including, but not limited to, The APX Letter, The Archi, The Rise, The Archi-Pledge, and The Handbook for Members

Participates in all regularly scheduled and special Grand Council conference calls

Travels to and attends the National Convention, grand council strategic planning meetings and other fraternity events as required

Leads special projects as designated by the Grand Council for the betterment of the fraternity

Managing vision and purpose. Articulates and supports the vision and mission of Alpha Rho Chi; communicates a compelling and inspired vision of the fraternity; talks beyond the here and now to a larger sense of purpose.

Term of Appointment

As soon as appointment through June 30, 2016. Candidate may choose to run for election at the 69th National Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina

Eligibility

Membership in Alpha Rho Chi, current on all fiscal commitments to Alpha Rho Chi
